A teensy list of comics

Final Crisis #3: As said elsewhere, the best characters are the non-mainstream characters, like the Japanese superheroes. Lots of stuff here that's directly from the Seven Soldiers series Morrison did a couple years ago. On the good side, the Trade for this is going to be interesting. The bad side, it has to be probably the most opaque thing for non-comic fans out there. I don't know if this is a good idea or not.

Hawkman Special #1: This was related to the Rann-Thanagar Holy War, which was the leverage the comic book store used to get me to buy the thing. Glad I got it, though, as it basically retconned a lot of Hawkman's history. I guess all that stuff they've been telling us thus far has been a big lie. I wonder if they'll tell Black Adam...

The winner? A tough one. I enjoyed the Hawkman story more, I think, even though it was all jibber-jabber.
